Juliane Gabriel

lives in Berlin, Germany;
studied Classic Singing/ Musictheater
(with Prof. I. Hartmann- Dressler)
and Acting at the University of Arts (UdK) Berlin.
worked and performed with the Berlin Chamber Opera,
Aribert Reimann, Dieter Schnebel,
Tom Johnson (Berliner Inventionen, curated by Renee Block), David First (The Manhattan Book of the Dead),
and Walter Norris.
Worked and performed as Actress with the Transformtheater Berlin/Hendrik Baranowski, Bruessel-Project, Kristof Kieslovski; assisted Tom Waits/ Robert Wilson
(Alice/ Alice in bed);
directed
the multi media opera 'Lyrae' from Waibel/Agnesens/Biasio at the Ballhaus Naunynstrasse Berlin and a couple projects with actors at the UdK Berlin;


works as a voice teacher since 1986 with singers, performers, logopaeds, theaterteachers, managers
(Siemens Change Management Workshop,
workshops at the University of Arts Berlin, with the International Forum of Young Stageemployees at
the Berliner Festspiele.
since 2000 teacher at the
Musicschool Paul Hindemith Neukoelln.
Developed a vowel modell, that makes it possible to experience and explore energy and presence through voicework in the body.
since 2004 international summer workshops in Dublin, Ireland; Jeju, Kwanju, Taegu in South Korea, in Madison, Wisconsin and in Ozark, Arkansas.
